Just bought this car through Crown Wholesale Auto in Tampa, FL and the first day we had it all of the sudden the tire light and window washer light were on, the car thermo needle was going from hot to cold, hot to cold. Called Mason, the man we bought the car from and he said it's just the thermostat. Well, we took the car to our mechanic we've been going to for years and he said transmission is going out and radiator is leaking! In March 2014, Nissan Indonesia decided to end the production of Grand Livina X-Gear with 1.8-liter engine, citing lack of demand as its reason.The L11 Grand Livina for the Malaysian market has the 1.6-liter HR16DE with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic with Lock-Up Torque Converter, or 1.8-liter with 4-speed automatic with Lock-Up Torque Converter only. In March 2014, the Livina X-Gear was launched in Malaysia as the Nissan X-Gear powered by the Nissan's HR16DE engine mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The 1.6-liter manual Grand Livina has since been discontinued in Malaysia.The L11 Livina X-Gear 5-seater was introduced in China, and later also in Indonesia and other markets in September 2013. The redesigned 5-seater has the same front panels and trunk as the longer Grand Livina X-Gear.
The Livina X-Gear for Indonesia is powered by a 1.5-liter engine. In the meantime the 5-seater X-Gear is the only Livina sold in Thailand and Taiwan. In these countries, the so-called Livina only is powered by the 1.6-liter engine.On June 20, 2014, Nissan Motor Indonesia introduced the Highway Star Autech variant of the Grand Livina. It has a different front bumper design with bigger fog lamps, new grille, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
